Looking out from the Confederation Basin at Kingston, Ontario towards the fort across the river -- note dark and threatening clouds -- they managed to behave themselves, we only had a few rain drops, but the weather certainly had our attention!

It's hard being a boater with good friends! We had dinner at a local pub -- and each of us tried a separate local brew, all were really good. Dan and Jaye drove up to Cape Vincent NY, took the ferry to Kingston, and are taking Ellen and James back to Annapolis. They came for the friendship AND to go through a lock or two

So, I put on my best attire to show them a good time -- and yes it was cold!

Leaving Kingston to go upstream to the Rideaux Canal -- these people are having a good time

Of course, there were some low bridges which required lowering the VHF antenna, and some more spectacular scenery along the way.
