New York Skyline

Arrived Sandy Hook NJ after a long day at sea -- rough getting out of Atlantic City with 5 plus waves on the bow, but after some moments of concern and a racing heart, we ploughed through that to reach the relative calm of the Jersey Coast. And then 85 miles of good going until we arrived at the approaches to NY where the wind picked up considerably. We spent over 10 hours but the ride was worth it.

Today, we start up the Hudson -- aiming to get to Tarrytown about 50 miles from here -- after circling the Lady in the harbor and seeing Elis Island from the water.

Pictures tomorrow.
