From Camelot upriver to Kingston

We could see this house just across from the basin at Camelot
This is looking towards to dinghy ramp in the Camelot basin -- note empty mooring ball -- there really were only two boats there for the night
As you might note, there are strong prevailing winds coming from the west (Lake Ontario) downstream along the St. Lawrence. Again, the far shore is US
The sparkling wide St. Lawrence River as we head back to Kingston
Ft Henry -- guarding Kingston from attack by us!

That's the tour of the Canadian Islands -- haven't decided whether to venture to the American Islands next week.

Melissa & Chessy, BZ looks like a wonderful trip. And you actually made it out of the Chesapeake (unlike some old retired naval officer I know. Wish I was there. Enjoy, you deserve it. Aloha & Arrooooo, Steve & Dasher

Jim L. in Chesapeake Sailing Club (S/V Wisp of Dawn) always teased that the trees blowing CAUSE the wind, and now you have photographic evidence.

Hi Melissa, Chessy, Ellen and James,

Thanks for the gorgeous photos of the Thousand Islands. We were there many years ago on a tour boat and dreamt of doing what you are now enjoying. Don't rush. You've already covered a lot of miles.

We are back in NC for a few days before heading to Seattle. We will catch up when we return. Enjoy the next segment of your journey.
