Alone again...and it's raining

After returning to Midland, Grier, Mike, Christopher and I decided to land tour some more -- we went over to Penatanguishene to visit a re-created eary 1800's British Naval base. That was when Great Britain was pretty certain that those pesky Americans were going to restart the War of 1812 so they positioned garrisons of soldiers and created bases for their Navy. It was very well done -- but you know who forgot to charge the batteries in her camera :(

We had an early fish and chips dinner -- pickerel, which if you've never tasted it is very mild and sweet -- returned to the boat for an evening of games, rain, and preparation for their departure early yesterday morning.

It ranged from dark grey and dank, to hot bright blue sky, to BLACK heavy rains, thunder and high winds throughout the day. Waking this morning to dark grey sky and light rain -- but the forecast is for sun for the next three days!!

I hope to get the engine "issue" resolved this week -- it won't keep me from heading out early next week once my replacement crew arrives, but it sure would be nice to have every possible range of speed instead of trawler speed or high speed.

Are the engine issues related to the turbo charger making a noise like a belt slipping at midrange? Ah, the memories that brings back...
