Saturday turned to rain -- and promised the same throughout the day -- after several card games on board, we decided to head back to Midland. The Canadian Coast Guard had a buoy tender in the narrows leading back out to the open water. We managed to weave our way through the marks -- lowest depth was 6' -- Sonador draws 4'6" (plus maybe a couple of inches in fresh water)
The beauty of Beausoleil even in a dreary day. Note the boats tucked at anchor behind the rocks -- a common practice up here that I've yet to garner the nerve to adopt.
Then high speed back to Midland, and an afternoon of drying out below grey overcast sky.
