Onto Killarney

The approach to Killarney from the outside included reassuring views of the LaCloche Mountains -- we are about five miles off shore and the waves have begun to subside as the waters are protected from the west by Manitoulin Island.

Pulling into Killarney Channel, you pass the General Store -- note that the front of the store faces the water -- Killarney wasn't accessible by road until 1962 so all commerce was water bound. Still the place to get general supplies and fresh veggies.

We are across the channel from the Sportsman's Inn -- surrounded by other/larger boats and very comfortable in our surroundings
