Charlevoix the Beautiful

I don't care how many times I look out onto Charlevoix harbor -- it's always somewhat magical.  The brilliant blue skies of the day are replaced by the subtle sunsets -- and cooler nights.

I'm planning on another week here -- just hanging around with friends, and enjoying the change of pace.

Not to mention the delightful weather!

My days are filled with long walks with Sophie, reading books, taking naps, and generally soaking up the atmosphere of this lovely town.  Not a day goes bye but we pass by the mushroom houses, and the beautiful estate homes that make up the back roads.

And the evenings are spent reading, listening to books on tape, and making sure that I breathe all the good vibes that make up this part of the world.

I will store all this in my memory bank, and return to Florida in the fall ready for another committed winter of working/volunteering at SMART.  In the interim, it's very peaceful and good for the soul up here.

So glad your back in the "neighborhood." It's never quite summer until you return. Love to you and Ms. Sophie.
