Back in the good ol' US of A

We checked into US Customs at Drummond Island Michigan this afternoon -- after a rolling ride on the last part of the North Channel that I'll experience this year. (pictures tonight)

Since we left Little Current, we've been to the Benjamin Islands (pink granite, rocky, steep shores -- and just beautiful), to Meldrum Bay (the last township on Manitoulin Island -- population 48) and now at Drummond.

From here, we cross the northern end of Lake Huron, and go to Cheboygan Michigan, where Charlee heads west to see her grand child, and I wait for Sooz to join me on Labor Day. We'll do Mackinac Island, Les Cheneaux Islands (north end of Huron), and then over to Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan (gotta get some new charts)

I AM coming back next year -- so little has been seen and experienced in this beautiful country!
