Peterborough

Three nights in Peterborough -- three nights of music -- wonder what happens tonight? On Sunday after Steffani left, I just read on the back stoop (those who have been on Sonador will know that I mean the back porch). Then in the afternoon I joined two other Loopers who had learned of a barbeque ribs cookoff and country music fest happening about four blocks from here, so we trudged over for cold beer and ribs -- pretty darn good tasting -- and the music was fun.

Yesterday, all the Loopers except yours truely pulled out of here mid morning to head north -- and I continued to just relax. Around 5 p.m., a big band concert started not 200 feet from my slip and I got to listen to Glenn Miller and all the old sounds until about 7 p.m.

Today, it's hot -- probably get into the upper eighties by the afternoon -- so Chessie and I took an early walk and we are now going to stay put in the air conditioning until later in the evening. It does cool off here at night.

The picture was taken at a different marina -- but we are just the same here -- just a little more relaxed (if that is at all possible)

Tomorrow I'll venture over to the lift lock museum, and take lots of pictures -- I would imagine that we'll be much to busy once we get there
