
There is very little traffic mid-week -- in fact one of the lockmasters mentioned that he thinks traffic in general is off by 25% due to the price of fuel. This is one of only four boats that we met going the otherway

Much of this part of the waterway is rustic, with camps that are obviously loved but not the grandeur of the Thousand Islands

Although there certainly is some pretty scenery to look at -- note that the sky is clearing

The monster lock just below Campbellford -- this is the first in a flight of two locks -- even the acoustics were terrifying as a disembowled voice announced on a loud speaker that the water would start to rise. At this point, Steffani has done ten and is working on her eleventh lock of the day.

I know it is hard to see, but in the lower distance is where we came from on the flight -- and now we've had a beautiful sunset and are ready for tomorrow's adventure to Hastings. Fewer locks, and fewer miles than today.
